Huckenden Barn

this historic barn was converted using conservation and ecological techniques in collaboration with Neil May Builders.
this project won a Wycombe District Council conservation award, 2000.
the building was repaired using home grown oak, lime mortars and flint. the building was insulated external to the existing frame, using sheepswool, wood fibre board and wood wool board.
